I have had the pleasure to work with students from all over the world-these students are from Iraq, Kurdistan, and the US. Here they learn that instead of throwing pizza boxes away they can turn them into solar ovens! 

For 4 years I helped design and taught programming for Green Festivals Kids Zones all over the US. This Seattle Kids Zone was one of my favorite!

I am honored to work in San Quentin with these beautiful people working to bring sustainability inside. This program was started by the men inside.

I had the pleasure of chaperoning a trip for US students to Indonesia. All of these students did environmental projects and we had a cross-cultural sharing of students taking action around earth advocacy!

In 2008 I co-designed an environmental education program that introduced permaculture design through serving learning to 8 schools in San Francisco. One successful strategy we used was to hire staff that represent the cultural diversity and richness of San Francisco.

Here we are partnering with Bay Area Wilderness Training to prepare our staff for leading camping trips.

This program, ESLI, is no longer happening but the students we served are becoming the next leaders of the environmental movement!
